
We are pleased to present our Elementary & Middle Students of the Year for 2023. Elementary- Miss Mila Sedrick and Middle-Chauncey Wilkins. These students have worked so hard to have met the criteria for consideration for Caddo's Student of the Year and we are so PROUD of them.



It's been a busy morning at NCEMS! Once the Elementary Student of the Year contestants finished their interview process, we went straight into Middle Student of the Year interviews.

Are you ready to celebrate Red Ribbon Week? NCEMS will be celebrating being DRUG FREE all week long and look forward to a weeks worth of FUN!


Are you ready to "Team Up" against drugs? Middle School students will be taking on MS staff for a volleyball "Throw Down" on October 26 from 2-3 for Red Ribbon Week. Admission to the "Throw Down" is a $1 and Worlds Finest Chocolate will also be sold for a $1.


The 3rd-5th grade students will take on staff members of NCEMS to "Team Up" Against Drugs during Red Ribbon Week on October 26 from 12-1.. Admission to the game will be a $1.00 and Worlds Finest Chocolate bars will also be sold for a $1.00.

Retake Picture Day is coming on November 8, 2023 for NCEMS. If your child missed school picture day in September, be sure they get their picture made on November 8th. Students will be wearing school uniforms for "retake picture day."



NCEMS Student Council will be selling Boo Bags starting October 16-26 for $2.00. Let's all have a BOOING good time.


Take a moment and wish Principal Nicolas Cunningham, Happy Boss's Day. Today, he was presented a Visa gift card and a card from the faculty and staff with notes of gratitude for all he does to make NCEMS a GREAT place to be and work.

A student wanted to recognize Principal Cunningham "We Care Act". She stated, "Mr. Cunningham gave me a water [bottle] for free because I gave mine to my younger brother in Kindergarten." PBIS gave Cunningham his favorite nutrition tea drink "Swamp Juice" We are #WeCareSchool!




A staff member wanted to recognize Mr. Kris Smith "We Care Act". One of Mr. Smith's students was not feeling well and she is non-verbal. Mr. Smith took the time to write to her and & support her form of communication. This act of kindness is displayed to all students regardless of their background, gender, nationality or disabilities. Thank you Mr. Kris Smith for displaying caring acts to all students on campus! We are #WeCareSchool!



The Middle School Homecoming Dance that was scheduled for Friday, October 6th has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled to coincide with the the Homecoming football game when the new date is determined. Purchased tickets will be honored for new date.
